JMC VIRTUAL POLICY
Lot's of virtual airlines have been shut down by there real life counter parts. It is there so important that you do not remove anything from this website other than for personal use. The last JMC virtual was shut down by JMC and they came back as easy jet virtual and were shut down again so it is important that you do not remove any material from this site except for personal use. JMC Virtual opens its doors to flight simulator
Welcome to JMC virtual. The website is now operational. We except applicants of all ages and can offer support to people that do not have much experience with flight simulator or with online flying. We fly on line with VATSIM (VIRTUAL AIR TRAFFIC SIMULATION) When flying online with VATSIM you fly with all the other virtual airlines and you are controlled by VATSIM ATC which you are able to apply for when you have become a member of VATSIM.net. The VATSIM ATC also offers voice functions where you can talk to controller through a programme called roger-wilco available from the downloads page. But if all of this sounds to downing then you can just fly as normal on your computer as usual and use this website as a reporting station to log your hours. You may also notice that some of the links are not accessible now but will become in the next few weeks. If any of you are interested in ATC for VATSIM get in contact with me and I can help. I currently own a student rating so can only advise you but I am hoping soon to further to snr student and a mentoring rating so I can offer mentoring at local airports. We hope that you enjoy JMC virtual.
The ranking system
The ranking system is very simple. If you have 0-50hrs then you are a first officer, 50-100hrs senior first officer, 100-500hrs captain, 500-1000hrs senior captain. At 1000hrs a chief pilot is selected out of all of the pilots that have more than 1000hrs but you must apply by e-mail me
here. The ranks are not automatic so I can only update them when I notice but if you feel I have forgotten e-mail me with your name here and I will upgrade you it out straight away.Fleet news
The JMC fleet now contains the flight one and dreemfleet 737-400 and the phoenix A320-200. These are currently our only aircraft. More will be added to fleet in the weeks to come so please be patient. If you want the template for the dreemfleet 737-400 that can be downloaded from the Fleet page. You can also get other aircraft of the internet just go to your web browser and type JMC and the aircraft you want followed by for fs98/2000/2002. Also good news the site is due for a big change in January 2003. Still if you can't wait until then then the webmasters post is open. We are now on course for a timed exam for first officer and then captain and also a full training department. For the moment we suggest going to VATSIM-UK to revise for the exams.
